Last year, Osage opened its brand new 30,000 sq. ft. Remount Center. Moving the remount business into that facility allowed us to focus on additional capacity needs in 2023.
In Summer 2023, we added a fourth paint booth to the operation. This paint booth now houses aluminum cabinets, consoles, grills guards/bumpers, among other smaller paint pieces. With this addition, we are focused on increased capacity of modules & chassis through our primary paint facility.
We have upgraded one of our oldest buildings on the property this year. Our old remount shop has seen new exterior tin, interior upgrades, new garage doors, an office added, among other safety features. In early 2024, we will move our metal cutting shop into this facility, along with a second router, new press break, and new shear. This capacity growth in cutting capability will allow quicker turnaround time on many cabinets / parts / pieces, and will allow our wood cabinet shop space to grow. We are excited for this addition in 2024.
